※ E3 adaptor/Cullin RING/APC_C/CDC20 family introduction
CDC20 represents a family of substrate-specific activators of APC-dependent ubiquitination, which can promote the degradation of the APC substrate (1). Members of CDC20 family share the C-terminal WD40 domain that recognize and bind substrate (2). In human, there are two members, CDC20 and FZR1, while in yeast there exist three, CDC20, CDH1 and AMA1.
